Het eerste produkt van Insight Pharma Services, de website www.mijnmedicijn.nl, is gebaseerd op het feit, dat algemene informatie over medicijnen meestal bestaat uit de bijsluiter, patiënten informatie folders en folders van de farmaceutische industrie. De bijsluiter is zeker de belangrijkste en ondanks de inspanningen om het begrijpelijk te houden is er nog steeds een aanzienlijke hoeveelheid mensen die de bijsluiter niet begrijpen. Deze informatiematerialen zijn toegespitst op de werking en bijwerkingen van een medicijn, maar ondersteunen een patiënt niet of nauwelijks in de gebruiksfase (welke bijwerkingen ervaar ik en hebben anderen dat ook?) en een eventueel keuzeproces voor een ander medicijn.
Alle websites van Insight Pharma Services zijn onafhankelijke websites waarop de patiënt en zijn/haar ervaringen met medicijnen centraal staan.
U kunt zelf uw mening geven over uw medicijn(en). Daarnaast kunt u de ervaringen van anderen per medicijn of gegroepeerd per categorie bekijken. Hierdoor bent u in staat om snel en overzichtelijk een idee te krijgen van het effect van medicijnen in dezelfde categorie.

The first website of Insight Pharma Services, www.mijnmedicijn.nlnl is based on the fact that general information about medicines usually consists of a package insert, patient information leaflets and brochures of the pharmaceuticals industry. The package insert is definitely the most important one and despite of the efforts to make it comprehensible there is still a substantial amount of patients that do not understand the leaflet. These information materials are focused on the effects and side effects of a drug, but hardly supports a patient in using a medicine (what kind of impact can I really expect and do others experience that too?) and, if necessary, in the concerns around selecting any other medicine.
All the websites Insight Pharma Services is managing are independent websites where the patient and his / her experiences with drugs are central.
You can give your opinion about your medicine(s). Additionally, you can look at the experience of others by medication or grouped by category. This enables you to get an idea of the effect of a particular medicine in the same category quick and easy.
